I found that this build works great w/ my shield on my ele that has -2 when in stance. Because I'm always in a stance (mantra) I never take dmg and I could probly get all the guy at once.

Ya can get them all at once without the shield and having insignias too. The only problem is that they have their zone and they will return to there if they are pulled so much. I tried... I like to make good & impressive videos hehe. But the best I can do without "fleeing" monsters is 2 big groups...
I like a photo if they are all in the same "spot" dying together!

Actually the -2(physical damage) stance shield makes no difference as the Vaettires deal earth(elemental damage).

I don't know if anybody has mentioned this, but the run is a lot easier if you use a casters weapon set for the run. If you go with a mellee set a worm spawns and uses Wurm Bile on you that I find makes the run almost impossible, if not outright impossible.

This isnt related to the type of weapon you use, just bad luck. I do this run often enough and last night I had to bad runs almost back to back wielding my earth staff. One near the start with a worm appearing, knocking me down and casting wurm bile. The second with me almost getting to the next zone with the 3 wurms appear, the green wurm boss and two other wurms.

Not sure if any one else is interested in this but due to the large amount of white/blue drops you get I also take 6 salvage kits and salvage materials, mainly wood/iron.
Purchase Perfect Salvage Kits and sell for 1.5k each.
Saves leaving all those drops on the ground and allows you to re-zone more often without having to merch all the items.

I've been doing this run for a very long time and always without a geomancer's insignia then stopped farming for a while. Today I tried it again and they were hitting 1's and 2's on me, was there an update that changed something? Because they never used to do any damage to me.

I have not used Armor of the Earth since my 1st day on the farm, no real need. I use that spot for extra damage, I have been bringing Light of Deldrimor for the armor ignoring damage. You can put anything in that spot, even if you want a running skill. As for the worms, you are screwed if one spawns, pretty much gg nub and start again unfort. It really is annoying. The farm is great though, always getting full loads of gold before I go back to hall. The rinse and repeat factor of it makes it one of my fav farms, and really as long as you have your head out of your backside once used to it, you shouldnt die, and even if you do, you can easily continue on as dp goes away quickly.

I'm trying this for the first time right now and it's great.
I forgot to put on geomancers insignia but I still don't take any damage so it's
all good and all go.
Thanks, Ragnagard

No need for geo's here really. I am considering taking arcane echo instead of one of the wave skills to see the drop differential between gradual killing of sliver armor over the mass aoe kill of the wave skills. I am going to try to catalog my drops each run with the skills to see if there is a major difference in their effectiveness

Got a new fav way to do this build....
[skill]Glyph of Swiftness[/skill]
[skill]Obsidian Flesh[/skill]
[skill]Light of Deldrimor[/skill]
[skill]Crystal Wave[/skill]
[skill]Teinai's Crystals[/skill]
[skill]Storm Djinn's Haste[/skill]
[skill]Mantra of Earth[/skill]
[skill]Stoneflesh Aura[/skill]
With max Deldrimor Title Track.....you do 80 holy damage....which like the Crystal spells, ignores armor. You dont have to wait for stupid echo to recharge either
